David Orr is the Paul Sears Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies and Politics at Oberlin College and a James Marsh Professor at the University of Vermont. His career as a scholar, teacher, writer, speaker, and entrepreneur spans fields as diverse as environment and politics, environmental education, campus greening, green building, ecological design, and climate change.

Paulo Herkenhoff, Adjunct Curator, Department of Painting and Sculpture, at the Museum of Modern Art, has written extensively about Latin American artists, especially Brazilian artists, including Lygia Clark, Cildo Meireles, Adriana Varejão, Waltercio Caldas, and Ernesto Neto. In this lecture at the University of South Florida, Herkenhoff looks at contemporary Latin American art from a local, national and global perspective.
